Kitty

Emily's kitty friend. she's 18, I don't know her name. :) She hid under a table in the store; I had to search for like, 5 minutes to find her.

Port Townsend & Canada Part II

This one made me laugh. It was in a military antique store in Canada.

A rock. Covered in seaweed. I don't know, I thought it looked cool.

This is a sculpture outside of a curio shop in Port Townsend. Her name is Emily, as you can see on her tag.

This is the real life Emily, she's about 13 years old, and a total sweetheart. I spent most of my time visiting with her and her "sister." A cat. :)

Port Townsend & Canada Part I

Amelia looks like she's pouting, my sister appears pensive, and my mom looks plain angry.

Like I said before, I didn't have my camera out as often as I would have liked. I only took about 200 for the whole trip, Friday to Sunday. Disappointing! Lets see what we have here...

A street performer in Victoria. He pulled this really funny prank: he counted down, when he got to one, we all started clapping and whistling. This wouldn't seem strange, except for that he joined us in the crowd, so it appeared as though we were clapping for nothing (or for the people walking by). All the pictures I took of him he was making funny faces. This was about the most normal picture I got of him.

Another average beach picture. This was at Kala Point. Nothing special, I just thought it was pretty.

Post more tomorrow!

It was a nice weekend. I'm afraid I didn't get create the amount of photos I was hoping for, but I'll post some no matter what tomorrow morning.

Goodnight :)

Are you ready for some recent shots?

Well, too bad! You have to wait for another 2 days. I'll have tons, I promise. We are going to Port Townsend and Victoria, B.C.

It will provide lots of photo ops (I hope), even though the weather is less-than-pleasant right now. I'll also try and take some pictures from Downtown, because I love it there, and I never bring my camera when we go.

See you soon!

my favorite flower pictures

so this one is technically a flower stem picture, but I still thought it was neat. Unedited.

This is the flower that goes along with one of the stems in the first photo. A sunflower! How beautiful.

These are water lilies found in my aunt's pond. desaturated (obviously) and some retouching on the lily pad.

And resaturated (just for you, Maddie!)

There are many many more, and I will work on getting Picasa albums together for all the pictures I'd like to show, but don't have the time/initiative to put them on my blog.

grandma

sorry for taking such a long time to get my haircut! My hair is still recuperating from what we call "chop shock". I got 6 inches taken off. I'll have to post a self portrait sometime soon :)

Anyway, this is my Grandma Ginger. This was on Christmas Eve, 2006. I had recieved my camera 3 hours before (I know this because I had to charge the battery for 3 hours before I could take pictures. The most grueling 180 minutes of my life!), and I of course had to take as many pictures as possible!

I apologize, Steve, for using a flash. It was in the first one hundred pictures I took with my TZ1, so give me a break! ;) I thought it was pretty impressive for being the day I got my camera.

In conclusion, I've had this shot of my grandma for AGES now, and I haven't shown it to anyone because it's definitely not the best picture I've taken. I figured I could get some good feedback on here, though - and of course, I did!
