Pu Pu Point / My Daddy's Got New Kids

This is Mama Goat (yes, that's her name). She was one of the original four goats my father purchased to eat our backyard, now there are nine. She's not my favorite, but she's definitely the most photogenic.

Today I hiked Tiger Mountain with my step sisters and my stepdad. At the very top, there is a paragliding launch pad. The paragliders have to wait for the sun to be out, or else there isn't enough heat to keep their chutes up. These three quickly left the launchpad, because there were a lot of clouds and they needed to get out almost one after the other before the sun left again. You can also kind of see in the background the city of Issaquah, and Lake Sammamish.
There is another meadow a ways down from the top, where the paragliders launch from if the wind is going a different direction. Don't ask me which direction, though, because i definitely couldn't tell you. But there are buttercups in that one, and i took a picture of one! I know, more flower pictures... but this is probably one of my favorite flower pictures i have taken.

Picture 1: I have never heard of a photogenic goat.. but I suppose they are pretty hard to come by. This one is quite photogenic, so congratulations on your find.

Picture 2: Very cool! reminds me of a hill-er-mountain we drove up in michigan (sorry, I'm from colorado, things like this are called "hills" here) but i love the paragliders... definitely a dream of mine... i love the idea of flight. Maybe arial photography is my calling! and that is an ungodly name for a lake.

Picture 3: Great detail in the flower pedals! love the full view! perfectly in focus! better if it was maybe a bit brighter though... photoshop?

And by now you should know, I am most assuredly not a self-respecting teenager.

Haha- I love goats! My aunt has like 30 and they are crazy, but I must agree with Steve on this one- I think this one's made for the movies. I LOVE that paragliding picture! Nice composition, even the colors of the gliders just mix well together- nice!!! And the flower picture- I could take flower pictures all day; they never cease to amaze me- and this one is no exception:)
