every year, there is at least one idiot who decides that it's a good idea to set off fireworks during the driest month of the year. In the driest part of the state. In the foothills near the dam- which happens to provide energy to a large portion of our area.
This year it ended in a fire up in the hills. It was very exciting. It took about 15 minutes for firefighters to get up to the spot, and about 30 minutes for them to put it out/stop all the flareups. Pretty cool? No.

cool picture though. the smoke adds to it, very cool
Lol, I like your story. Very short, sweet, and truthful. The picture does what all pictures should- evoke emotion. This could be on the cover of a magazine and capture many peoples' attention. Nice job!
