Lazy Tuesday?

"Wake up in the late afternoon / call Parnell just to see how he's doin'. "

This is the famous Flipper, taking a cat nap on our couch. All of the other pictures I tried to take of him, his eyes were seriously squinted shut (because of the flash - and no, I couldn't take this without the flash, it was too dark in the room I was in), so I waited until he was sleeping. And voila, here is my picture, his eyes are squinted because he's sleeping, not because of the flash... I promise :)

yeah right, he's squinting. lol It's a wonderful picture though...

Did you try turning off the red-eye removal on the camera? the red-eye flash causes the flash to pre-flash a few times before the picture is taken, to get human eyes to close up a little bit in dark situations, which prevents the retina from showing through... but that often causes people to blink when you take their picture...if you turn that function off it should only flash once, it will keep the cat from squinting and the people from blinking... they'll just have red eyes... but I guess thats easier edited out than eyelids...

well, I knew that the red eye flash flashed more than once. I did have it on the normal flash because of it, but it still fires two times. Like, a little tiny one, and then a bigger one? I don't know. That's just what happened.
