grandma

sorry for taking such a long time to get my haircut! My hair is still recuperating from what we call "chop shock". I got 6 inches taken off. I'll have to post a self portrait sometime soon :)

Anyway, this is my Grandma Ginger. This was on Christmas Eve, 2006. I had recieved my camera 3 hours before (I know this because I had to charge the battery for 3 hours before I could take pictures. The most grueling 180 minutes of my life!), and I of course had to take as many pictures as possible!

I apologize, Steve, for using a flash. It was in the first one hundred pictures I took with my TZ1, so give me a break! ;) I thought it was pretty impressive for being the day I got my camera.

In conclusion, I've had this shot of my grandma for AGES now, and I haven't shown it to anyone because it's definitely not the best picture I've taken. I figured I could get some good feedback on here, though - and of course, I did!

I like her pose, her facial expression is perfect, although I am still waiting for the paragraph. No haircut has ever taken this long. I think the use of natural light if at all possible would have been good, flash tends to over-expose and wash out face colors, which makes even the most beautiful person on earth look just that much harder to look at. lol
